Kosei Komatsu 1981 -

Born in 1981 in Tokushima.
After completing graduate school at the Tokyo University of Arts, he became a member of the artist group Atelier OMOYA, exhibiting interactive works in which visitors could participate. Since 2014, he became independent and established Kosei Komatsu Studio. His interest in "levitation" has led him to create works based on the themes of "birds" and "feathers". With the keywords of "lightness", "movement", and "light", he pursues an expression in which the technology of nature and the technology created by human beings intersect. Currently, he exhibits his works at art museums and also creates intallations for commercial facilities.
