Teppei Kaneuji 1978 -
Teppei Kaneuji 1978 -
Kaneuji participated in an exchange study program at Royal College of Art in London while he was a student at Kyoto City University of Arts in 2001, and completed master course in sculpture at Kyoto City University of Arts in 2003. He has developed an approach to create his work by collaging ordinary objects collected including plastic products, cutout of magazines and toys. He attracts attention by rhythmically repeating and amplifying the images that continue to be produced in contemporary society. Connecting individual objects by ignoring their original meanings of existence contribute to vigorous expression of his artworks.
