Measures to prevent the spread of new coronavirus infection

2022/04/23

Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale 2022 will be held in accordance with the "Guidelines for Prevention of the Spread of the New Type of Coronavirus" formulated based on guidelines from the government and related organizations to ensure the safety of the local community, visitors, supporters, management staff, and everyone else involved in the festival.

We ask for your understanding and cooperation in reading the following information before visiting the festival. Please note that the contents may be updated depending on the future spread of infection.

Request to all visitors
Be sure to stop by the "Health Check Spot" at the beginning of the day!

In order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus, wristbands necessary for viewing artworks will be distributed at "temperature check spots" throughout the region after visitors take their temperature, check their physical condition, and confirm that they are wearing masks. Please be sure to stop by one of the "temperature check spots" at the beginning of the day, as you will not be allowed to enter the venue without a wristband.

*Persons with a fever of 37°C or higher or those in poor health will not be allowed to receive wristbands or enter the artwork facilities.

*Temperature check and wristband will be distributed at the registration desk only for those who board the special train of the work "JIKU #13 HOKUHOKU-LINE". However, only those who board the special trains departing from Muikamachi Station (service 1 and 3) will receive a temperature check and wristband at the boarding reception desk.

*The ETAT is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but we ask that you take your temperature and wear a wristband at each facility when visiting facilities that are open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Please cooperate in measures to prevent the spread of new coronavirus infection.
Please refrain from coming to the event if you are in an area where the national government or local governments require you to refrain from unnecessary and urgent inter-prefectural activities such as declaring a new coronavirus infection "state of emergency" or "priority measures to prevent the spread of the disease," if you have cold symptoms such as fever (37°C or higher), cough or sore throat, or if you are not in good health.
We ask that you wear a mask properly and practice good cough etiquette.
We ask that visitors keep a sufficient distance (1 to 2 meters) from other visitors when visiting artworks, related facilities, parking lots, etc.
Please use hand sanitizer when entering the museum and when touching artworks.
To reduce congestion, we may have no choice but to restrict admission.
Please refrain from loud conversations.
Please install the "COCOA" application for confirming contact with the new coronavirus and register the official Niigata Prefecture LINE account "Niigata Prefecture - Personal Support for New Type Coronavirus Countermeasures".

The work to be released may be subject to change depending on the spread of the infection.
Depending on the spread of the infection in Japan and the region, the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale itself may be temporarily suspended, or some artworks and facilities may be closed to the public. Please check the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale's website for the latest information on the opening of artworks.
Measures to be taken at the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale 2022
Disinfectant solution is placed at the entrance of each facility and on works that directly touch hands.
Handrails, elevator buttons, and other areas that are touched by many people are regularly disinfected and cleaned.
Indoor facilities are always ventilated. For facilities where constant ventilation is difficult, carbon dioxide levels are measured and ventilation is performed on a regular basis.
Staff members take their temperatures daily, wear masks, and take good care of their health.
